The AVO Explorer has been designed to allow rapid integration of AVO analysis into existing interpretations and to quickly perform identification and detailed examination of prospect areas. The Explorer offers a variety of options including such features as toggle switches for well/prospect display, display of well/prospects on multiple timeslices and the ability to create displays for partners or for marketing of a prospect. In the example on the right, a movie loop of timeslices has been stopped at a selected timeslice. The cursor is placed at the X location and pressed. This displays the chosen CMP. Clicking on any event in the CMP gather displays the Amplitude vs. Incidence Angle and a table of AVO parameters. The AVO Explorer offers many more options and capabilities such as displaying stacks or several CMP’s for inlines, crosslines and arbitrary lines. This Linux based software is offered free to Flamingo clients.
